My Dear Smartphone, Shiro, Came Back!

Folks says, "what yours will be yours."

Yes, that's true.

Recently I've experienced it myself.

This is the story...

In my previous post, I've talked about  the incident of my smartphone, named Shiro, lost and i didn't have any idea where the hell it was at that time. As far as I could remember, I still used Shiro continuously right after I and my friends get off the car and come into one restaurant located on Jalan Sabang for taking our lunch. I realized that it had been lost when I couldn't find it anywhere when we started our lunch altogether. I tried to call it and the operator lady told me that the number I just called was not active or was not in the coverage area. Then, I came back to our car, I supposed it must be lying on the front seat where I sat, yet I could find it nowhere. I was so sad all day long wondering why every belonging of mine was lost / taken by unappropriate one. For the record, Shiro is the fourth consecutive lost at that time after my watch, my spectacles, and my dear shoes this very month. :(

Right after I was sure that Shiro was lost, I decided to send one text message to Shiro asking the one who find it to inform me as soon as possible and to give it back to me. Of course I wouldn't forget to tell him that if he do that, I'd give him some considerable reward. Just in case, this person was an honest one.

Almost 3 days I waited for the call / reply about the whereabout of Shiro, yet there's no sign of it. It made me desparete utterly. :'(

Then, on the 4th day, on Tuesday dawn, suddenly I got one text message from person who found Shiro. I am so shocked and happy all at once. Then I replied the text message asking for more information. Praise God, he intended to give Shiro back to me and as far as I saw it, he was a generous and honest person. Maybe I was to positive back then. I don't know. Actually this could be some ways to tricked me or what. Once again, I don't know. Just like that, we made an agreement to meet on the place where I lost Shiro, Jalan Sabang. :)

We agreed to meet afterwork at 08.00 pm. So, right after I finished my job, I called Tora, my dear friend, to accompany me meeting him. I and Tora had dinner in Kios Pelangi while waiting the call of this person. Not long after we finished our dinner, this person called me and asked me to meet him on Kopi Tiam Oey. Well, Kopi Tiam Oey lying next to Kios Pelangi so there was no problem. I paid dinner before leaving Kios Pelangi then walked inside Kopi Tiam Oey, got a seat. Right after I and Tora sat on our seat, this person called me. I answered him and told him to come inside. 2 minutes we waited, and this person came in front of me smiling. He is a young, skinny, shorty, maybe on his 20s, black-skinned man wearing black shirt and casual jeans. The way i see him i thought he must be a college student. Thought, in the end all my assumptions were proved wrong. He was a waiter in a decent restaurant at Jalan Sabang who by any chance found my Shiro while doing his job. So, I told him to order food and beverage. After that, I asked him to show me my Shiro, and he gave it to me. Praise God, my Shiro came back to me! :')

To convince myself, I examined every tiny parts of Shiro. Overall it's in a good condition. I found several scratches though but that didn't matter at all. Inside Shiro I checked everything. The system, the applications, the appearances, and so on, yet I couldn't find anything suspicious. I was so happy back then. I thanked this person whose name is Shiddiq generously by giving his reward as promised. I thanked him repeatedly, again and again. I am so grateful. :')

After that I paid his food and asked permission to go home first. He didn't mind. We parted, I drived Tora back to his office, and I went home with big smile on my face and Shiro inside my pocket. Praise God, Alhamdulillah...

All that story talk about one thing, "What yours will be yours." If I and Shiro mean to be together, then we will be together.

Love you Shiro, may I have the chance to use you properly in the future.
