2015 in Summary

2015 has become a real deal to me. There were a lot of stuffs happen this year. Most of them were great things, however.

In the beginning of the year, I was struggle with my thesis. I worked day and night to make sure that this thesis could be approved by my supervisor. It was a difficult job since my supervisor was known for his high standard in the area of writing and accounting. He supervised me very cautiously. One error was not acceptable. The thesis must be 100% free from error. Months came by, my thesis was finished completely on February 2015. I was so glad at that time, even though I realized very well that it was not the right time to be 'glad'. The forthcoming schedule would be much challenging than ever. The day when I had to defend my research in front of my thesis' evaluators.

Therefore, I needed to prepare long before due date. I reopened my accounting books again, relearned them, again and again, until the time came. Not long before the due date, possibly about 1 week before, I was confident with my preparation. I faced the evaluators with confident smile, presented my research in front of them. Luckily, those evaluator team, led by Mr. Walujo, were not questioning a lot of hard questions in regards with my research and accounting. You know what happen next. Yeah. Alhamdulillah, I passed it. I was graduated!

On April 2015, I was formally graduated from my university, State College of Accountancy. I was so pleased at that time... and sad at the same time. I had my reasons for that.

On May 2015, I came back to work. Just my luck, I got a very tough place in my institution: Personnel Division. I said it as "a very tough place", of course with several reasons, most of which is you will need extra patience to handle human (like what we always do in my place of work). Hmm..

May to November 2015: nothing really special occasions happened. I was just like sitting in my workplace day and night, day after day, to get one by one project, done. After work, I get myself into an English course in LBI Universitas Indonesia to improve my english fluency. Those 3 months were very helpful. I could develop my IELTS point significantly (by 2,0 to be exact) because of that.

Not long after that, December came. Our national revenue was still so far from its target, which mean, according to President Regulation number 37 year 2015, we would get 'cut' literally and figuratively on our income, as a tax officer, next year (2016) with certain percentage. However, that news shouldn't be think as a bad news, should it? On contrary, I think I have to face it bravely and make it as a real motivation booster to improve my work in years to come.

...

And here it comes, 2016..
Good bye 2015~! Another annus mirabilis for me. Thank you for all those unforgettable moments!
